Chittorgarh Railway Station
The easiest way to reach Chittorgarh is via railway, as it’s well linked to all the major cities of the state and country. Chittorgarh Railway Station(station code: COR) is situated 7 KM away from the fort. You can hail private taxis or auto-rickshaws from railway station to fort. Since the station is well connected to major cities, you wouldn’t find any problem booking seats for express trains.
Mewar University, Chittorgarh is a premier educational institute in Chittorgarh district. However, the university is at Gangrar(station code: GGR), at a distance of 17km from the city. You can either take a taxi, an auto-rickshaw to reach the station to Mewar University since Gangrar does not have a bus stand, whereas there are regular trains that stop at the station.

The station has a waiting room/retiring section for the passengers awaiting their trains, both AC(air-conditioned) /Non-AC rooms are available. Passengers book a single/double bedroom as per requirement.
